Inherent Criteria

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in English Language/Communication underpinned by a related Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
  • At least two years’ teaching experience in a higher education environment   Recommended: 

  • Experience in tutoring, mentoring or other similar academic support to students
  • Knowledge of the higher education landscape in SA
  • Knowledge and experience of hybrid models of teaching and learning (FtF and online learning)
