Job Description

Job Purpose:

Teaching and Learning and Assessment of Learning on the Extended Curriculum programme for the subject Economics in various departments, as well as administrative and curriculum revision and improvement duties within the various departments.

Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities:

  • Lecturing to full-time undergraduate extended curriculum students.
  • Contributing toward academic initiatives undertaken by the department.
  • Assessment and Academic administration.
  • Curriculum development and quality assurance.
  • Building links with the industry, other training providers and all relevant stakeholders.
  • Conducting research and supervising MTech and BTech students.

Inherent Criteria

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Economics with underpinning Bachelors Degree in Economics
  • Two years’ work experience
  • Sound experience in communication aspect
