Job Description
Duties:
- Successful candidate will teach undergraduate and postgraduate students and supervise Honours research projects in Climatology.
- Conduct research in the field of Climatology
- Contribute to departmental administration responsibilities.
- Perform community development activities and research.
Inherent Criteria
Requirements:
Senior Lecturer:
- PHD in Geography, GIS or Engineering GIS
- Five years’ teaching experience in a tertiary institution or seven (7) years professional experience in the relevant field.
- Five publications in accredited Peer reviewed journals, chapters in a book and book publications.
- Evidence of supervision of five (5) postgraduate students at Honours level, Master or Doctoral students.
Lecturer:
- Msc in Geography, GIS or Engineering GIS.
- Three (03) years teaching experience or five (05) years professional experience in the relevant field.
- Publications in peer reviewed and or non-peer reviewed journals will be a strong recommendation.
