Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

  • Teach across broad areas of Political Science and International Relations at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
  • Refine curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
  • Participate in collaborative research projects undertaken locally and internationally.
  • Participate in community initiatives in line with University policies.
  • Produce scholarly publications.
  • Participate in academic administrative functions for the smooth running of the department / faculty.
  • Other work-related responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department / Faculty.

Inherent Criteria

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Master’s degrees in Political Science / International Relations or any appropriate cognate field.
  • Basic theoretical knowledge of the field.

  • 3 years university teaching experience with proven research output

Added advantages:

  • PhD or registration towards a PhD in Political Science / International Relations or any other related field
  • Ability to conduct online teaching and assessments
