Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

  • Teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Participate in curriculum design and implementation of newly accredited programmes
  • Assist with preparation of new programmes for approval and accreditation by relevant bodies in the country within a problem and case based teaching environment
  • Attract funding and conduct research in business management or related fields
  • Supervise postgraduate research in business management or related fields
  • Participate in public engagement activities within the University
  • Academic administration and citizenship

Inherent Criteria

Minimum Requirements:

  • A doctoral qualification in Business Management or related fields
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in a higher education environment or a minimum of three (3) years in the higher education environment plus relevant industry experience
  • Proven experience in teaching either financial or operations management
  • A proven research record supported by publications in DHET accredited Journals 
  • Evidence of a strong postgraduate supervision record at masters and doctoral level
