Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Administers all categories of leave types
  • Captures records of job and personnel details
  • Writing of weekly or monthly Human Resources reports
  • Assists with the appointment and terminations of employment
  • Filing of employee information and related Human Resources documentation
  • Captures data about new employees to ITS and prints all documentation for the employee and the personnel files 
  • Communicates with employees about their documentation and answers specific questions of employees
  • Responds to Human Resources related phone, email and walk-in enquiries or concerns
  • Support the Human Resources team with recruitment and selection
  • Prepares employment contracts and appointment letters
  • Completing of employment references for new employees and providing references for existing and ex-employees

Inherent Criteria

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • 3-years Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3 years’ Experience in Human Resources or related field
  • 3 years’ Experience with end-to-end support in all areas of Human Resources. 
  • Proficient use of Human Resources Systems (ITS Integrator, Oracle Discover and Jasper)
  • Good computer skills (MS Office Suite)
  • Good organizational, planning, prioritizing and time management skills.
  • Confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of general Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Self-driven and high level of professionalism skills
