Background to Position

STADIO Holdings is a multi-campus Higher Education enterprise with a national footprint, as well as hosting a number of student support centres in South Africa and Namibia. STADIO Holdings acquired the following six private higher education institutions (PHEIs): AFDA, Embury, LISOF, Milpark Education, Prestige Academy and SBS.

STADIO Holdings has consolidated four of these PHEIs to form a single registered PHEI which is known as STADIO (Pty) Ltd.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

The purpose of the role is: 

  • To be accountable for the achievement of Waterfall Campus financial performance and growth targets.
  • To develop Waterfall Campus specific business and operational strategies and action plans within the framework and context of the STADIO strategy.
  • To collaborate with the STADIO Academic, Operations and Finance Divisions to ensure minimum shared services standards are adhered to.
  • To manage the execution of these strategies and plans.
  • To manage Waterfall Campus operations.

More specifically the Head of Campus: Waterfall will:

  • Report to the Executive Head: Contact Learning.
  • Develop and execute an annual Waterfall Campus business and operational strategy and budget.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Academic Officer and Chief Financial Officer to ensure that STADIO minimum standards and policies are adhered to.
  • Identify new Campus business growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Student Recruitment function to agree on Campus marketing and recruitment strategies and plans.
  • Lead, manage, develop and mentor the Campus management team.

Inherent Criteria

Requirements:

  • An appropriate NQF 9 Qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Higher Education campus management or equivalent.
Knowledge:
  • All aspects of contact learning Higher Education management (sales, human resources, finance, property and facilities management, and academic programmes delivery.
  • Knowledge and experience in hybrid learning will be an added advantage
  • Profitability, ROI, budget analysis and budget management.
  • Education programme and facility profitability management.
  • Local government management and collaboration.

  • Business skills (IT, communication, presentation, financial).
