The Department of Business Management strives to be pioneering in terms of research and teaching related to the management sciences. This is achieved through cross-cutting research that also assists the practitioner-policy press concerning the management of businesses. Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Participate in curriculum design and implementation of newly accredited programmes.
- Attract funding and conduct research in the field of business management
- Supervise postgraduate research
- Participate in public engagement activities within the department
- Academic administration and citizenship
Inherent Criteria
Minimum Requirements:
- A master’s degree in Business Management or related field
- Registration towards a doctoral degree in Business Management or related field
- At least three years’ teaching experience in a higher education environment or one year in a higher education environment plus relevant industry experience
- A research record supported by publications in DHET accredited journals
Added advantages:
- Experience in teaching marketing or strategy
- Experience in postgraduate supervision
