The School of Public Leadership (SPL) at Stellenbosch University (SU) is unique in the South African context with its combination of Public Policy and Management, and Environment and Sustainability as strategic focus areas. The SPL’s activities, vision and mission, with “Learning for sustainable African futures” as its slogan, can best be understood and summarised as serving public value in an African context.
Reporting directly to the Director of the SPL, this role involves academic leadership and research that supports and ensures the delivery of a transformative learning experience aligned with the SPL’s strategic vision.
