The incumbent will contribute to excellence in the Faculty of Law through the following responsibilities:

• Lecturing undergraduate and postgraduate modules in the Department of Public Law, including public procurement law and integrated legal studies
• Actively researching, writing and publishing in public procurement law
• Providing postgraduate supervision in public procurement law and other specialised areas covered by the Department
• Contributing to the administrative functioning of the Department and Faculty
• Performing such other duties as assigned by the Faculty

The Faculty of Law at Stellenbosch University is seeking to fill a three-year part-time fixed-term vacancy in the Department of Public Law. The Department is responsible for teaching core undergraduate and postgraduate modules including constitutional law, human rights law, public international law, legal philosophy, interpretation of statutes, public procurement law, integrated legal studies, criminal law, and matters related to the Criminal Justice System. The Department emphasises quality teaching, postgraduate supervision, research, and social impact.
