In partnership with the Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness, we wish to appoint an academic with a broad range of clinical and teaching experience.
The Division of Occupational Therapy is part of Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. We train future occupational therapists through academic excellence, community engagement, and innovative research. We offer undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (from Bachelor’s to PhD level) with a focus on holistic, evidence-based practice. Students engage in real-world service through community-based projects, supporting underserved communities. Collaborative service delivery in clinical placements promotes teamwork across health disciplines.
The Division seeks to appoint a lecturer for the programmes offered in Occupational Therapy.
Appointment is on the joint establishment of Stellenbosch University and the Western Cape Government: Health and Wellness on the conditions of service of the University.

01 June 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter
