The incumbent reports directly to the Director: International Affairs and Partnerships and will be responsible for:

• Managing the administrative aspects of the International Students Function of the International Affairs & Partnerships Directorate
• Leading strategic international student recruitment initiatives
• Managing international student admissions processes
• Ensuring regulatory compliance for international students
• Streamlining processes to strengthen institutional capacity in admissions and credential evaluation
• Delivering integrated support for international students including accommodation, psychosocial referrals, and learning support
• Managing student transition from high school to university and from their home country to South Africa
• Setting up academic and support programmes
• Implementing strategies for a rich student life
• Monitoring international students, researchers and staff satisfaction
• Financial Planning & Budgeting
• Managing Organisational Unit Staff
