• Academic responsibility for teaching, learning and assessments of allocated undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programmes
• Contributing to the development and implementation of nursing programmes, curriculum review and curriculum building activities
• Research supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate (Masters and Doctoral) students as allocated
• Conducting own research, disseminating research outputs and translating knowledge
• Providing collaborative leadership to develop and implement a departmental research strategy
• Participating in social impact projects, service delivery, and rendering appropriate services in the institution, Faculty and departmental context
• Securing research grants and contributing to other revenue streams
• Participating in national and international meetings, committees, conferences, papers and projects
